  Text	"DEATH ON OR AFTER 1 JANUARY, 1898 "WILL "BE IT KNOWN that Sarah Hening Huntington of 17 Kingsland Road Birkenhead in the county of Chester formerly of 17 Elm Grove Birkenhead aforesaid spinster died on the 1st day of January 1932 at 17 Kingsland Road aforesaid "AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament with a codicil thereto of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principle Probate Registry of His Majesty's High Court of Justice, and that administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Cyril Henry Huntington Scott of 9 Harrington Street Liverpool civil engineer and Reginald Perrin Scott of 17 Kingsland Road aforesaid bank official nephews of deceased the executors named in the said Will Dated the 4th day of February 1932 Gross value of Estate … £657-19-7 Net value of Personal Estate … £562-19-2 "This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Hening Huntington of 17 Elm Grove Birkenhead in the County of Chester Spinster made this eighteenth day of July One thousand nine hundred and fourteen I appoint my Nephews Cyril Henry Huntington Scott and Reginald Perrin Scott (hereinafter referred to as my Trustees) to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will I give devise and bequeath and appoint everything of which I have power to dispose by Will including my freehold house Number 15 Elm Grove Birkenhead to my Trustees Upon trust to sell call in and convert the same into money and out of the moneys to arise thereby to pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and to invest the residue of the said moneys in their names in any of the Public Stocks or Funds or Government Securities of the United Kingdom or India or any Colony or Dependency of the United Kingdom or upon freehold or copyhold securities in England or Wales or in or upon the Debentures Mortgages or securities of any Municipal Corporation in the United Kingdom or in or upon the debentures debenture Stock or Guaranteed or Rent Charge or Preference Stock or Shares of any Railway Canal Dock Harbour Water Lighting or Power Company in the United Kingdom or India or any British Colony or Dependency which shall have paid a dividend of not less than Three pounds per centum per annum on its Ordinary Capital for the term of its existence or for the five years immediately preceding the investment or upon the purchase of Profit(?) Rents arising from land or buildings situate in Great Britain held in fee or for a term of years of which not less than sixty years shall be then unexpired and to vary such investments at their discretion for others of a nature hereby authorised And I direct that any Trustees shall hold my said residuary estate and the investments for the time being representing the same hereinafter called ‘my Trust estate’ Upon trust to pay the income thereof to my Sister Maria Scott during her life for her separate use without power of anticipation And after the death of my said Sister my Trustees shall hold my Trust estate In trust for my said two Nephews and my Niece Izetta Eleanor King the Wife of Aldred King in equal shares Provided that if any of them my said Nephews and Niece shall die in my lifetime leaving children who shall be living at my death and who being male shall attain the age of twenty one years or being female attain that age or marry under that age then such children shall take equally amongst them the share which their parent would have taken had he or she survived me And I declare that it shall be lawful for my Trustees to retain any investments performing part of my Estate at my death and to postpone the sale or conversion of the whole or any part of my Estate for so long as they shall in the their absolute discretion think fit without thereby incurring any liability for any loss which may happen to my estate And I declare that any Executor or Trustee hereunder acting in any professional capacity with respect to the trusts of this my Will shall be entitled to charge and be paid all professional charges for any such work done by him or his Firm I revoke all former Wills made by me In witness whereof I have to this my Will set my hand the day and year above written Signed and declared by the said Sarah Hening Huntington the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Sarah Hening Huntington Fred. Emily Cheape Hessle Spinster "This is a Codicil to the before written Will and Testament of me the before named Sarah Hening Huntington of 17 Elm Grove Birkenhead in the County of Chester Spinster which Will use dated the eighteenth day of July One thousand nine hundred and fourteen I hereby revoke the trusts and bequests contained in my said Will of(?) a share in my trust estate therein referred to after the death of my sister Maria Scott in favour of my nephew Cyril Henry Huntington Scott and I hereby declare that Mary Louisa Scott the wife of the said Cyril Henry Huntington Scott shall take by substitution the share in my trust estate or the trust premises representing the same which by my said Will was bequeathed to my said nephew Cyril Henry Huntington Scott And I declare that my said Will as before altered shall operate and take effect in the same manner as if the said share in my trust estate bequeathed to or directed by my said Will to be held in trust for the said Cyril Henry Huntington Scott had been bequeathed to or directed to be held in trust for the said Mary Louisa Scott And in all other respects I confirm my said Will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty seventh day of August One thousand nine hundred and twenty five Signed by the said Sarah Hening Huntington in the presence of us both present at the same time who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Sarah Hening Huntington Walter H.
