[The marriage probably therefore occurred in the historical year 1712.]

"Huntington: tricesimo die mensis pr[e]d[icto] Ad[ministrati]o bonor[um] e[t]c[etera] John[n]is Huntington nuper de Melton p[ar]o[ec]ia de Welton provinc[ia] Ebor[aci] (h[ab]entis e[t]c[etera]) abint[estat]o (ut Asseritur) def[unc]ti Com[m]essa (sic) fuit Oliva[e] Huntington vid[uae] ejus rel[ictae] prius Cora[m] Ven[erabi]li Viro Marco Brathwait Legum D[o]c[t]ore Sur[roga]to e[t]c[etera] Iur[at] (Salvo etc.) Ex[hibi]tum fuit Inven[tarium] ul[tra] 40l. et pr[ae]stita est Cautio."
TRANSLATION: On the thirtieth day of the month aforesaid [October] Administration of the goods etc. of John Huntington late of Melton in the parish of Welton in the province of York (possessing etc.) who died intestate (as it is alleged) was granted to Olive Huntington his widow and relict having first been sworn in the presence of the worshipful Marcus Brathwait surrogate etc. (saving etc.*). An Inventory was submitted above 40 pounds and security was offered.
